The Workshop is dedicated to discussing and intensifying research in the field of advanced dielectric and applications. It started in 2016 as a joint collaboration between the Federal University of Paraiba, the University of São Paulo, and the University of Potsdam, to discuss research on the topic of advanced materials. The event was proposed by Prof. Dr. Ruy Alberto Pisani Altafim and Prof. Dr. Ruy Alberto Correa Altafim who had a partnership with Prof. Dr. Reimund Gerhard, supported by the CAPES/DAAD Probral. The event was extended in further years and occurred in other places, bringing new developments and partnerships. Follow is present a short view of these past events.
2016
The first edition of the International Workshop on Advanced Dielectrics and Applications took place at the Auditorium of the Informatics Center of the Federal University of Paraíba in João Pessoa.
2017
The second edition of the yearly International Workshop on Advanced Dielectrics and Applications took place at the Auditorium of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computation of EESC-USP.
2019
The third edition of the International Workshop on Advanced Dielectrics and Applications took place at the Raymundo Asfora Convention Center in Campina Grande, PB.
